Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call in advance so that we may reserve a time for you. The office telephone number is 813-238-3384. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you are late, it may be necessary to reschedule you to avoid inconveniencing other scheduled patients.
Many procedures require long appointments and may have to be made during school hours. School officials are generally understanding. We will provide a school excuse form when necessary.
We give after-school appointments when possible; however, they must be confined to the procedures which take a minimum of time. Only in this way can we see a maximum number of patients during after-school hours. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
If possible, please give 24 hours notice. This courtesy on your part makes it possible for us to give your appointment to another patient.
Fees and Payment Policy
Several factors determine the orthodontic fee. These factors include the severity of the problem, the expected length of treatment, and the expertise, training, and professional judgment required to correct the existing orthodontic problem. Orthodontic fees are determined on an individual basis.
When you consider the cost of orthodontic treatment, consider the many benefits of having a lifetime of beautiful, healthy smiles. We provide flexible payment plans to fit the needs of our patients and offer a variety of financial alternatives, including no-down-payment programs.
For your convenience, we also offer Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and other credit services.
Insurance
If your insurance policy offers orthodontic coverage, we will help you determine the coverage that you have available. We will make financial arrangements with you for payment of your portion of the fee that is not covered by insurance.
We are pleased to help in any way we can in filing your insurance claims and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
Your insurance is usually a contract between you and your insurance company, and you are ultimately responsible for the fees charged.
